How it all started

I’ve always loved the idea of preserving a moment while creating a memory, but didn’t actually recognize the power of photography until my senior year of high school. Once I started, I couldn't stop. I was addicted to how my photos made people feel & the inspiration I got from constantly looking at other people’s work. I declared a Studio Art major before even starting college & my very first class was drawing. My concentration was in photography & creating art for class was an entirely different world. It challenged me, encouraged me & critiqued me for 4 years & I truly believe it made me a better artist. It’s also where my love & understanding for film came from. I was required to take 2 film classes before I was allowed to take digital & I’m so thankful for that. I love the rawness of a film photo, so I offer film and polaroid photos as an add on! While my style is constantly evolving, I’m a sucker for sun flares and neutral tones. If I had to describe my style, I would say it’s a good mix of vintage romance, summer warmth and rebellious passion. I want my art to make you feel something- an authentic moment with an artistic twist.
